As a blended malt, it has more flavor than your average JW bottles (save for JW Green, as it's also a blended malt). Can be consumed neat, but it has a funk that may be off-putting to others. And while it is simple and not complex, considering it is a 1L bottle with a very cheap asking price (even cheaper than JW Black nowadays) it is a very decent option for guilt-free casual consumption and mixing into Old Fashioned's.
