While this beast of a rum is not as aromatic as a Hampden Overproof, it is nevertheless a very flavorsome drink - and at a significant fraction of the cost. Will recommend diluting it with water (and not just drops, but teaspoonfuls) - not only will it help in reducing the potency of the alcohol heat, it will also release a lot of dried fruit and spice flavors that would otherwise be covered up by the strong alcohol proof.
It is already very nice as a sipping rum, but I know it will also work great in your Mai Tai and other favorite Tiki cocktails.

Surprisingly easy drinking for its age. Caramel apples, lemon zest, barely any hint of bitterness, a bit of alcohol burn. With water, the burn mellows down a bit, and the mouthfeel becomes thicker.
