Alter Ego de Palmer 2021 – Margaux AOC Rouge

Born from the same celebrated terroir as Château Palmer, Alter Ego de Palmer 2021 is the estate's expressive second wine — a Margaux that stands confidently on its own terms.

The 2021 vintage brought cool, precise growing conditions across Bordeaux, yielding wines of remarkable freshness, focus, and finesse. Alter Ego 2021 reflects this beautifully: a deep, luminous ruby in the glass, with an aromatic profile of dark cherry, blackcurrant, and violet, layered with hints of cedar, graphite, and subtle floral notes characteristic of the Margaux commune.

On the palate, the wine is elegant and medium-full bodied, with polished, silky tannins and a bright, well-integrated acidity that gives the wine superb energy and length. The finish is long, refined, and persistently fruity — unmistakably Margaux.

A wine to enjoy now with a light decant, or to cellar with confidence through the early 2030s.
